Butterfly Valve is a quarter turn Valves. These valves have a fully rubber lined single piece body pattern with centric disc construction. The Body liner which also functions as the soft seat comes in either a replaceable or an integrally molded (bonded) version and offers a leak tight bi-directional sealing against vacuum.

Butterfly valves possess many advantages over other valves, especially for large valve applications. Savings in weight, space and cost are the most obvious advantages. The maintenance costs are usually low because there is minimal number of moving parts.
